  • chicken breast
  • sour lime (lima agria)
  • regular lime
  • habanero chile
  • onion
  • tomato
  • garlic
  • chicken broth
  • corn tortillas
  • cilantro
  • vegetable oil

Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 2 units sour lime (lima agria)
  • 2 units regular lime
  • 1 unit habanero chile
  • 150 g onion
  • 200 g tomato
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1500 ml chicken broth
  • 4 units corn tortillas
  • 15 g cilantro
  • 30 ml vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Poach chicken in broth with half the onion, garlic and salt. Shred chicken.
  2. Sauté remaining onion, tomato and habanero in oil.
  3. Add the sauté to broth, squeeze in all lime juice.
  4. Return shredded chicken and simmer 10 min.
  5. Fry tortilla strips until crispy.
  6. Serve topped with crispy tortillas, cilantro and lime slices.
