  • paneer, cubed
  • onion, diced
  • garlic-ginger paste
  • green chilies
  • garam masala
  • cream or yogurt
  • butter
  • oil
  • salt

Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh spinach
  • 300 g paneer, cubed
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
  • 2 whole green chilies
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 3 tbsp cream or yogurt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Blanch spinach in boiling water 2 minutes; drain and blend with green chilies to a smooth puree.
  2. Pan-fry paneer cubes in oil until golden; set aside.
  3. Heat butter in a pan; sauté onion until golden, add garlic-ginger paste and cook 2 minutes.
  4. Add spinach puree and garam masala; stir and simmer 8 minutes.
  5. Stir in cream, add fried paneer, and heat through 3 minutes.
  6. Adjust salt and serve hot with makki roti or naan.
