Ingredients

  • 8 wholeeggs, hard-boiled and halved
  • 2 wholeonions, finely sliced
  • 3 wholetomatoes, pureed
  • 15 ggarlic and ginger paste
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 0.5 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 0.5 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 10 gfresh coriander, to garnish
  • 1 to tastesalt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil; fry cumin seeds until they crackle. Add onions; cook until deep golden.
  2. Add garlic-ginger paste; sautรฉ 2 min. Add pureed tomato and all dry spices.
  3. Cook until oil separates, about 10 min.
  4. Add 150 ml water; simmer 5 min into a thick gravy.
  5. Add eggs, spooning gravy over. Simmer 3 min. Garnish with coriander.
