Ingredients

  • 1.3 lbchicken breast, cut in bite-size pieces
  • 2.1 ozlow-fat yogurt
  • 2 tspred chilli powder
  • 0.5 tspturmeric
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 15 ggarlic and ginger paste
  • 20 gcornflour
  • 10 wholefresh curry leaves
  • 2 wholegreen chilli, slit
  • 2 tbspoil for shallow frying
  • 1 to tastesalt

Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt, chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, garlic-ginger paste, cornflour, and salt.
  2. Marinate chicken at least 30 min (or overnight).
  3. Shallow-fry chicken in hot oil in batches 5โ€“6 min until crispy and cooked through.
  4. In the remaining oil, fry curry leaves and green chilli 30 seconds.
  5. Toss chicken with tempered curry leaves; serve immediately.
