- 10⅝ ozfresh pasta dough or wonton wrappers
- 8.8 ozground pork
- 5⅓ ozfresh spinach wilted and chopped
- 3½ ozonion finely diced
- 1 wholeegg
- 4 gdried marjoram
- 5⅛ cupbeef stock
- 3½ ozonion for garnish thinly sliced
- 1⅛ ozbutter
- 10 gfresh chives
Instructions
- Mix pork, spinach, onion, egg, marjoram, salt, and pepper to make filling.
- Roll pasta dough thin; cut into 12×12 cm squares.
- Place a tablespoon of filling in each; fold into rectangles and press edges to seal.
- Simmer maultaschen in beef stock for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
- Sauté sliced onion in butter until golden and caramelised.
- Ladle broth and maultaschen into bowls; top with onion rings and snipped chives.
