- white fish fillets (tilapia or hake)
- coconut milk
- tomatoes
- onion
- garlic cloves
- dendê oil
- cilantro
- lime juice
- fish stock
- salt
- chili flakes
Ingredients
- 400 g white fish fillets (tilapia or hake)
- 150 ml coconut milk
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 3 piece garlic cloves
- 10 ml dendê oil
- 15 g cilantro
- 20 ml lime juice
- 400 ml fish stock
- 5 g salt
- 2 g chili flakes
Instructions
- Blend tomatoes, onion, garlic, and cilantro into a smooth paste.
- Heat dendê oil in a pot, add the blended paste and cook 5 minutes.
- Add fish stock and bring to a boil. Add fish fillets and cook 10 minutes.
- Stir in coconut milk and lime juice. Simmer 5 more minutes.
- Blend half the broth for a thicker consistency if desired. Season and serve hot.
