Ingredients

  • 300 gpork mince
  • 300 gbeef mince
  • 80 gstale bread soaked in milk
  • 50 ggrated Pecorino
  • 2 wholeeggs
  • 700 mltomato passata
  • 10 gbasil leaves
  • 25 mlolive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix meats, bread, Pecorino, eggs, salt; form 20 meatballs.
  2. Brown in oil in batches; remove.
  3. Simmer passata with basil 10 min; add meatballs.
  4. Cook covered on low 50 min.
  5. Serve over pasta or with crusty bread.
