High-Protein Chicken Tikka Masala
A lean British-Indian chicken tikka masala with extra protein and fewer calories. Classic pub curry night favourite with 46g protein, ready in 45 minutes.

Ingredients
- 600 gchicken breast
- 150 gGreek yoghurt
- 2 tspgaram masala
- 1 tspturmeric
- 1 tspcumin
- 400 gtinned chopped tomatoes
- 100 mlcoconut cream
- 1 largeonion
- 3 piecesgarlic cloves
- 2 cmfresh ginger
- 1 tbspolive oil
- 1fresh coriander
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast
- 150 g Greek yoghurt
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
- 100 ml coconut cream
- 1 large onion
- 3 pieces garlic cloves
- 2 cm fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- handful fresh coriander
Instructions
- Cube chicken, mix with half the yoghurt and all spices. Marinate 15 minutes.
- Fry onion in oil until soft, 5 minutes. Add grated garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes, bring to simmer, cook 10 minutes.
- Blend sauce until smooth. Return to pan.
- Add marinated chicken, cook through 15 minutes.
- Stir in coconut cream and remaining yoghurt. Simmer 3 minutes. Garnish coriander.
