- 100 glean pork sausage (low fat)
- 1 mediumonion
- 1 mediumcarrot

- 500 mllow-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tspolive oil

Ingredients

- 100 g lean pork sausage (low fat)
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 unit celery stalk
- 2 unit garlic cloves
- 100 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 500 ml low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp olive oil
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions
- Sauté onion, carrot, and celery in olive oil 5 minutes. Add garlic and sausage, cook 3 minutes.
- Add rinsed lentils, tomatoes, rosemary, and broth. Simmer 30 minutes until lentils are tender.
- Season and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
