Ingredients

  • 800 gchicken thighs bone-in
  • 300 gbasmati rice
  • 200 gplain yoghurt
  • 3 wholeonions thinly sliced fried
  • 20 gbiryani masala
  • 1 gsaffron strands
  • 50 mlwarm milk
  • 30 gghee

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yoghurt, masala, salt 2h.
  2. Parboil rice 70%; drain.
  3. Cook marinated chicken in pot 20 min.
  4. Layer rice over chicken; pour saffron milk; dot with ghee.
  5. Seal pot with foil; dum cook on low 25 min.
