- 300 gdried green lentils
- 200 gMexican chorizo
- 300 gtomatoes
- 150 gonion
- 4 clovesgarlic
- 2 unitscarrot
- 3 gcumin
- 5 gepazote
- 2 unitsserrano chile
- 20 mlvegetable oil

- 300 g dried green lentils
- 200 g Mexican chorizo
- 300 g tomatoes
- 150 g onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 units carrot
- 3 g cumin
- 5 g epazote
- 2 units serrano chile
- 20 ml vegetable oil
Instructions
- Rinse lentils, simmer in water with garlic and cumin 25 min.
- Fry chorizo until fat renders.
- Add onion, serrano and carrot, cook 5 min.
- Add blended tomatoes, cook until thickened.
- Add chorizo-tomato mixture to lentils.
- Simmer 15 min, add epazote and season.
- Serve with corn tortillas and lime.
