- kidney beans, drained
- canned diced tomatoes
- yellow onion, diced
- bell pepper, diced
- garlic cloves, minced
- chili powder
- cumin
- smoked paprika
- tomato paste
- chicken broth
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
- 2 can kidney beans, drained
- 2 can (14oz) canned diced tomatoes
- 1 whole yellow onion, diced
- 1 whole bell pepper, diced
- 4 whole garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Brown turkey with onion and garlic in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add bell pepper, cook 2 min. Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, and paprika.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and broth.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning. Serve with optional Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, and green onion.
