Ingredients
- 1 cupsthick flattened rice (poha)
- 1 mediumonion, finely diced
- 1 wholegreen chili, minced
- 1 tspmustard seeds
- 1 leavescurry leaves
- 1 tbsproasted peanuts
- 1 tspturmeric
- 1 tspsugar
- 1 tbspoil
- 1 tbsplemon juice
- 1 tspsalt
- 1 tbspsev and cilantro for garnish
Ingredients
- 2 cups thick flattened rice (poha)
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 2 whole green chili, minced
- 0.5 tsp mustard seeds
- 10 leaves curry leaves
- 3 tbsp roasted peanuts
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 0.75 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sev and cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse poha in a colander under cold water; let it soften 2 minutes; drain well.
- Toss softened poha with turmeric, sugar, and salt; set aside.
- Heat oil; add mustard seeds and let splutter; add curry leaves and green chili.
- Add onion and sauté 3 minutes until soft.
- Add peanuts and toss 30 seconds; add the seasoned poha.
- Gently fold everything together; cover and heat on low 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle lemon juice; garnish with sev and cilantro. Serve warm.
