- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 scoop whey protein powder (unflavored)
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 whole egg
- 1 cup milk (1%)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9x13 baking pan.
- Mix cornmeal, protein powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk eggs, milk, and honey. Pour into dry and stir to combine.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Press hot dog rounds evenly into batter. Sprinkle with cheddar if using.
- Bake 25–28 minutes until cornbread is golden and set. Cut into squares.
