Ingredients
- 300 gdried/salted beef (charque)
- 300 gwhite rice
- 1 largeonion
- 3 piecegarlic cloves
- 2 mediumtomato
- 20 mlolive oil
- 2 piecebay leaves
- 3 gblack pepper
- 15 gparsley
- 700 mlwater
Ingredients
- 300 g dried/salted beef (charque)
- 300 g white rice
- 1 large onion
- 3 piece garlic cloves
- 2 medium tomato
- 20 ml olive oil
- 2 piece bay leaves
- 3 g black pepper
- 15 g parsley
- 700 ml water
Instructions
- Soak charque in cold water overnight, changing water twice. Drain and shred.
- Cook shredded beef in olive oil until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Sauté 5 minutes.
- Add rice, bay leaves, pepper, and water. Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook 20 minutes covered.
- Fluff with a fork, garnish with parsley and serve hot.
