Grilled Provoleta with Oregano and Chilli

Thick rounds of Argentine provolone cheese grilled directly on the asado until bubbling and golden — the best protein-rich appetiser before the main.

Ingredients

  • 200 gprovolone cheese round
  • 3 gdried oregano
  • 2 gchilli flakes
  • 10 mlolive oil
  • 2 slicecrusty bread

Ingredients

  • 200 g provolone cheese round
  • 3 g dried oregano
  • 2 g chilli flakes
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • 2 slice crusty bread

Instructions

  1. Brush provolone round with olive oil.
  2. Place on cast iron disc or asado grill grate.
  3. Sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes on top.
  4. Cook over medium heat 5–6 min until bottom is golden and top bubbles.
  5. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
