Ingredients

  • 700 gbeef chuck diced
  • 3 wholeonions sliced
  • 20 gsweet paprika powder
  • 400 mlbeef stock
  • 30 gtomato paste
  • 5 gcaraway seeds
  • 20 mlrapeseed oil
  • 4 gmarjoram dried

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in batches in oil; set aside.
  2. Fry onions until golden; add paprika, caraway, marjoram.
  3. Stir in tomato paste; return beef; pour in stock.
  4. Simmer covered 80 min until beef is tender.
  5. Season and serve with bread dumplings or rye bread.
