Ingredients

  • 300 gred lentils
  • 1 largeonion
  • 3 piecegarlic cloves
  • 2 mediumtomatoes
  • 150 mlcoconut milk
  • 5 gcumin
  • 3 gturmeric
  • 3 gpaprika
  • 15 mlolive oil
  • 5 gsalt
  • 20 mllime juice
  • 15 gcilantro

  • 300 g red lentils
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 piece garlic cloves
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 150 ml coconut milk
  • 5 g cumin
  • 3 g turmeric
  • 3 g paprika
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 5 g salt
  • 20 ml lime juice
  • 15 g cilantro

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until golden.
  2. Add spices and toast 1 minute. Add tomatoes and cook 3 minutes.
  3. Add rinsed lentils and 1 liter of water. Bring to boil, cook 20 minutes until lentils are soft.
  4. Stir in coconut milk and lime juice. Blend partially for a creamy texture.
  5. Season well, serve with fresh cilantro and crusty bread or rice.
