- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 0.75 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- 4 whole eggs
- 4 oz turkey breakfast sausage
- 0.25 cup milk (2%)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 2 whole green onion, sliced
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cook macaroni per package directions. Drain and return to pot.
- Add butter, milk, and cheddar to pasta. Stir over low heat until melted and creamy.
- Brown turkey sausage crumbles in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Scramble eggs in the same skillet with salt and pepper.
- Divide mac and cheese into bowls. Top with eggs and sausage crumbles.
- Garnish with green onion and hot sauce.
