Ingredients

  • 400 gbeef shank
  • 2 wholechicken drumsticks
  • 2 wholepotatoes
  • 1 wholesweet potato
  • 1 wholecorn on cob halved
  • 200 gchickpeas canned
  • 1 wholewhite onion
  • 4 wholegarlic cloves
  • 2 wholebay leaves
  • 3 gsea salt

Ingredients

  • 400 g beef shank
  • 2 whole chicken drumsticks
  • 2 whole potatoes
  • 1 whole sweet potato
  • 1 whole corn on cob halved
  • 200 g chickpeas canned
  • 1 whole white onion
  • 4 whole garlic cloves
  • 2 whole bay leaves
  • 3 g sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine beef shank, chicken, onion, garlic, and bay leaves in large pot with cold water.
  2. Bring to boil; skim foam; reduce to simmer.
  3. Cook 60 min.
  4. Add potatoes, sweet potato, corn, and chickpeas.
  5. Simmer 30 min until everything is tender.
  6. Serve broth separately; arrange meats and vegetables on platter.
