Ingredients
- 200 gbeef tenderloin steak
- 30 gbutter
- 3 wholegarlic cloves
- 40 mlwhite wine
- 3 gfresh thyme
- 10 mlolive oil
- 2 gsea salt
- 1 gblack pepper
Instructions
- Bring steak to room temperature; season with salt and pepper.
- Sear in olive oil over very high heat 2 min per side.
- Reduce heat; add butter, garlic, and thyme.
- Baste with foaming butter 2 min.
- Deglaze with white wine; spoon sauce over steak.
- Rest 5 min before serving.
