Ingredients
- 600 gfirm white fish (pomfret or kingfish), cubed
- 200 mlcoconut milk (light)
- 20 gtamarind paste
- 2 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
- 0.5 tspturmeric powder
- 1 tspcoriander powder
- 1 wholeonion, finely diced
- 15 ggarlic and ginger paste
- 1 tspmustard seeds
- 10 mlcoconut oil
- 1 to tastesalt
Instructions
- Heat coconut oil; splutter mustard seeds. Add onion and cook until golden.
- Add garlic-ginger paste; sautรฉ 2 min. Add chilli, turmeric, coriander; cook 1 min.
- Stir in coconut milk and tamarind paste; bring to simmer.
- Add fish; cook gently 8โ10 min until fish is cooked through.
- Adjust seasoning; serve with steamed rice.
