Ingredients
- 600 glarge prawns, peeled and deveined
- 200 mlcoconut milk (light)
- 3 wholetomatoes, sliced in rounds
- 1 wholeonion, sliced in rounds
- 2 wholered and green bell pepper, sliced
- 15 mldendê (palm oil) or olive oil
- 3 wholegarlic cloves, minced
- 20 gfresh coriander
- 30 mllime juice
- 1 to tastesalt and pepper
Instructions
- Marinate prawns in lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper for 15 min.
- Layer onion, tomato, and pepper in a clay pot or heavy pan.
- Add prawns on top; pour over coconut milk and dendê oil.
- Cover and simmer over medium heat 15 min; do not stir.
- Finish with fresh coriander; serve with white rice.
